Omaha, NE – deadline: October 9th, 2007

The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s College of Public Administration and Community Service call for proposals includes three projects associated with the College’s new facility: PROJECT ONE: North Entrance Aerial Installation/Sculpture: A focal point of the new building is the two-story atrium. A suspended piece of artwork is sought, which has aesthetic resonance and embodies the identity of CPACS. PROJECT TWO: Multi-Departmental Storefront Sites: Eleven multi-departmental storefront sites are sought which represent the various UNO Colleges housed in the building. These works should provoke reaction and dialogue related to CPACS’ mission and identity. These pieces may also incorporate themes for the individual departments. PROJECT THREE: West Entrance Exterior Space Installation/Sculpture: An exterior piece to be placed by the west entrance of the building. The work should enhance the visual components of the building and address the conceptual mission of CPACS.
